Agenda for July 11th Meeting, along with Aug., Sept., & Oct.

The following is our agenda for our coming July 11th, meeting, along with a quick one line sentence on what we have coming up in the next quarter.  As always, our meetings are held at The Well, in Pineville, NC 28134.  Our meeting times are from 7:00 pm to approximately 9:30 pm.  They are held the second Tuesday of every month.

This Tuesday, July 11th, Steve Simpson will be teaching an Advanced Songwriting Class called Show Don’t Tell.

Tuesday, August 8th, Fiona McAllister, will lead us in our Popular Class of Show and Tell.  This is a great time to share with the group something you’ve learned over the last year and where you are at with your songwriting.  A number of members will be freshly back from Summer Song Camps, so bring back your “take aways” to share with the group.

Tuesday, September 12th, Kick-off to Fall song circle!

Tuesday, October 10th, Julie Martin Dean, will be teaching a lesson we have never had before and are very excited to be offering, Writing for Your Voice.

Unless we are having a song circle, the second half of our meetings are always set aside for members’ song critiques, so be sure to bring 25 copies of your song lyrics if you’d like to have a song critiqued.

As with all of our meetings, please feel free to bring family and friends.  We provide snacks for free, and drinks are available for a donation of your choosing.  We hope you go home having learned something, shared some music, been heard, and feel better than when you arrived.  If you’re in a group and not having fun…you’re not at a NSAI Charlotte meeting.

See you Tuesday!

Misty Simpson, Fiona McAllister, Bobby Davis, Julie Martin Dean, Coordinators
